At this point, you have only provided the attorney with a concise story of your problem. In order to help you, he or she will need the whole story and that is where consultation comes in. An initial consultation appears like an interview. The aim of the consultation is for the attorney to get to know you, and determine if he or she is in the right position to help you solve your problem.
At the beginning of the conversation, the attorney will ask you why you have come to see him and will also want you to summarize your legal issue. While the summary is on, he attorney will ask questions for extra information. It is important that you provide the attorney with the full details so that he can help you.
After your summary, the attorney will ask a few follow up questions. Although some of these questions may be hard to answer, it is crucial that you answer completely and truthfully. Mind you, whatever you tell the attorney stays confidential.

On your first meeting with an attorney you will have many questions that you would want to be answered. One of the questions that may be most crucial to you will be your chances of willing.
Unfortunately, this is a question that lacks a definite answer. Unless it is an out-of-court settlement, a lawsuit is decided by a judge or a jury. And while an attorney may be able to determine if you have a strong case, they cannot guarantee outcomes and will not guarantee that you will come out on top.
